Zinc Chromate Primer

COATESIA Zinc Chromate Primer is an alkyd based metal primer intended for maintenance applications. It contains rust inhibitive pigments which protect the metal surface from corrosion in mild to moderately corrosive atmosphere.

FILLING

Coatesia Knifing Paste Filler Grey I

APPLICATION ENVIRONMENT

Temperature10-40 degree celcius. Humidity below 70%

CLEANING

Clean the surface of loose paint, dust and grease. Wipe clean using turpentine and allow to dry.

SURFACE PREPARATION

Sand the surface with emery paper 180 and wipe clean

APPLICATION

Apply one coat Coatesia Yellow Zinc Chrome Primer. Allow to dry overnight. Any undulation on the surface can be filled using Coatesia Knifing Paste filler grey. Allow to dry and apply one coat of Coatesia Yellow Zinc chrome primer over the filler Spray application: Air-assisted
spray application at pressure 25 - 30 psi. Recoat period is quoted for 25° C and 50% Relative Humidity; these may vary under different conditions.
